RED HORSE ART______________________________

Illustrative Work

In the beginning of 2007 I was fortunate enough to land a job illustrating a Youth Fiction novel that was being privately published by a little company called Pumpkin Head Publishing. The book was written by local Albertan author, Opel Johnson and is the first book of the series. The novel is called "Saving London". I illustrated and designed the cover as well as drew the black and white drawings that are lightly sprinkled throughout the novel.

I also did the interior illustrations of my novel, "Horse on the Loose", and "Sarah's Promise", which is the second book in Opel Johnson's series. I am always looking for new illustrative projects.

Since then, I have illustrated five published books and have plans to illustrate more. I prefer to work in ink and watercolours for my illustrations, but can work in other mediums as well. For my first two jobs illustrating books, I painted the cover digitally... I prefer to work with real medias, though. I am available for hire to anyone who needs some artistic touches to their projects. Please contact me with your project details.
