Currently, this game is still under maintenance but it will be opening very shortly; within the month, actually. Because this game is so forum and pixel intense and how much fun the players have will depend alot of their fellow players' activities, we are screening members. Getting An Account There are different account levels; You can have a Novice account for absolutely free that will never expire, or you can have an Advanced or Premium account. The reason we charge a little bit of money for the special accounts and other such things is mainly just to pay for this website's domain as the money would otherwise be coming out of an already poor college student's pocket. Prices and offers are subject to change. You won't be given free dragon(s) or Precious Gems / Dragon Fortune every time you upgrade, those are starter gifts. Also, you can buy extra goodies for the game as well, you don't even need an advanced or premium account for most of these items. You do not have to buy additional items... once you are a member of the game novice, advanced or premium, you will be eligable for dragon give-aways, breedings and other things to help you continue your dragon collection so there is no need to purchase more with real money... but if you'd like to continue to help raise money for the domain and me, the artist, then you can do so by buying more dragons and things. Prices and offers are subject to change. To purchase an account or goody... check out the village shops! Making Your Website Anyhow, once you are a member, you'll need a website! Now, if you already have a website of your own... you don't need a completely separate new website for these dragons, just a few pages set aside to post your pretties on. You may want to really dress up your site to be like the inside of a castle or a beautiful medieval landscape and have special sections for everything... or you may just want to leave it plain as just a place to hoard all your information. The main thing is that it is easy to locate all of your information. Remember that this is your dragon stables or weyr or castle or whatever you want to call it and it will be seen by all your fellow players as your professional 'business' webpage so the nicer it looks the better it will be received. Like any cyberpet site you'll need places to post your dragons and their stats along with a link back to borroweddreams.net giving credit to Tlouey as the artist who made your cybercritters. But you'll also need a place to build your castle, separate showcase pages for each of your dragons, separate pages working as each keep of your castle, maybe a main page to introduce us to your little dragon program along with updates and finally a separate page for all your events and records and other sorts of things.
